Souling mantra: My story matters.
Journal starter: The story I tell myself most often is…
The character I play in my stories is…
The words I use to describe myself are…
The new words I choose to describe myself are…
Souling action: Write your story in third person. Spend some time writing the truth of what you’re experiencing in your mind, but as if it were happening to someone else. Read it back out loud to yourself. Now consider the potential of a new story. What does this new story include? What does the main character believe? What does the main character do? What kind of world do they create? What will you change, what words will you choose now that you’ve seen your story laid bare like this? What will you keep? Will you share your story? I hope so; your story matters.
