Death
#SoulingMode
Souling mantra: Death is part of life.
Journal starter: If I died tomorrow, what would I do today?
What comes up for me when I consider death?
What practice about death could I adopt or be inspired by?
If I could create a new custom about death, what would it be?
Souling action: The action here is a deceptively unassuming one: to ponder. To consider the views you have about life and death. To be open to the inevitability of all of our deaths. Take this opportunity to consider your own death if that feels right for you. You could write your own eulogy. You could spend some time thinking about the death of people who have already left this earth and what that means now. You could spend some time considering the inevitable future death of a loved one. You could spend some time contemplating the idea of death, birth and renewal. There is no specific time to think about this stuff. You don’t have to do it now. Allow yourself a time and a space that feels right for you.
