Journal starter: I was born whole and complete…
I love these things about myself…
I judge these things about myself…
I can work on accepting the things I judge by…
Souling action: What have you been saying to yourself that makes you less than whole? What narrative do you have in your mind that keeps you saying, if I just do this, get this, look like this, then I will be…? Take that narrative, write it down, then imagine those words above your head. Hold them in suspension. Now ask yourself, what if I just accepted myself in this moment exactly as I am, without the addition of this other idea, this ‘potential’ me? Repeat to yourself, I am whole. Could it be possible that not striving to change, fix or edit your existence is the answer? Could you accept that you are perfectly, wholly and completely enough, exactly as you are?
